JULY 22, 2016 –Pokémon Go South Africa has become an overnight cultural phenomenon and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
The Radisson Blu Le Vendome Hotel which is always at the cutting edge of new trends decided to join in the fun. The hotel will be joining in on the ‘Great Gyarados Grind Lure Event’ for Pokémon Go South Africa users taking place at the Sea Point Promenade on Sunday 24th July from 10am – 2pm.
The ‘Great Gyarados Grind Lure Event’ is designed for players to find rare water and electric Pokémon’s while they walk along the Sea Point promenade.
Set on the Sea Point Golden Mile, the Radisson Blu Le Vendome saw the opportunity to jazz things up even more, inviting players to visit the Cpoint Bar & Lounge area if they reach level 10, level 15 or level 20 of the game to receive a special treat.
Those on level 10 will receive a chocolate Pokemon disc if you are on level 15 will receive a free coffee and if you are on level 20 you will get a free coffee and croissant.
Apart from the rewards, there will also be recharge van truck available where players can quickly recharge their phone batteries while enjoying the burger special or collecting their reward.
The Radisson Blu Le Vendome’s Cpoint Bar & Lounge is the perfect spot for a Sunday lunch while watching the action from the sidelineS or taking a well-deserved break, cocktail in hand.
