PARK INN by Radisson Hotel Newlands Executive chef, Morne Botha, has created an innovative menu for the hotel’s gourmet Christmas lunch buffet this festive season, certain to appeal to families, friends and loved ones in search of an unforgettable culinary experience.
Offering a delicious combination of traditional favourites and exciting new dishes, Morne’s menu is set to ensure guests enjoy a unique and memorable festive dining experience.
“We wanted to create a menu that was both exciting and memorable. As such, guests will be able to celebrate the most joyous time of year with delightful classic holiday flavours and exciting new combinations. We make use of only the best quality products, ensuring that all meals are of top standard,” says Morne Botha.
The gourmet buffet opens with a pea & watercress soup followed by a build-your-own salad station offering delicious options such as smoked salmon, cranberries, pate de champagne and rooibos poached dried fruit to name just a few.
For mains, patrons can choose from a mouth-watering array of carvery and seafood dishes including sirloin, gammon and turkey (served with mustard and cranberry sauce and red wine jus) and seafood dishes including a mussel pot and prawn cassoulet. Delicious side dishes will complement every choice of main course.
Dessert will complete the festive feast with an assortment of delights such as traditional Christmas puddings, chocolate brownies, fruit mince pies and a selection of cheese and biscuits.
The Christmas menu costs R395 a person or R200 for children 12 or under. Lunch is available from 13h00–16h00. All bookings must be made through the hotel and full pre-payment made upon booking.
