As one of the most ethical companies worldwide, Carlson Rezidor has an industry-leading Responsible Business programme. The program’s three core areas focus on minimising their environmental footprint; taking care of the health and safety of guests and employees; improving community action and business ethics. As an example of this, a third of the workforces in the Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town, Newlands, are deaf and hard of hearing.

In 2015 The Carlson Rezidor Group was awarded the Guardian Sustainable Business Award Diversity and Inclusion, with one out of three deaf or hard of hearing workforce rate at the Park Inn by Radisson, Newlands, and now looking to expand. This made them the first hotel in South Africa to employ staff with a special needs requirement on such a large scale.

The values of diversity, individuality and passion are central to the Carlson Rezidor Group’s success and their accessible, inclusive, vibrant and uncomplicated guest experience make them a role model on an international level and encourages corporate businesses to follow their lead.

This conference will take place between the 7th and 10th June and will present guests with an opportunity to connect with major sector players in order for them to take their performance to the next level- just another Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group contribution to the hospitality industry.
