Cape Town was a hive of activity on Saturday when a number of events were held around the Peninsula.
In the absence of a Stormers match at Newlands, the pride of place went to the Cape Town Carnival on Saturday evening. However, earlier in the day, hundreds of fun-seeking Capetonians made their way to the Boschendal/Jan van Riebeeck Festival, which took place at the Jan van Riebeeck High School Sports Field, De Hoop Avenue, in Tamboerskloof.
Cape Dreams Editor Herman R Gibbs was on hand at the Boschendal/Jan van Riebeeck Festival to see the Zulch siblings horsing around on the carousel.
