Celebrate Christmas Eve an array of scrumptious food and live entertainment.

Begin with a set starter of Roast fennel macaron, olive oil poached fish, radish salad, salmon mousse, salted fish crackling and black garlic mayonnaise.

The buffet main has an array of choices which include: Kudu loin served with beetroot chutney, Herb crusted sous vide leg of lamb with black cherry jus, Butter chicken curry, with tandoori yoghurt, Creamy garlic and white wine mussels, Grilled kingklip with fennel and lemon butter sauce, Wild mushroom tortellini with olive oil, parmesan and fresh herbs, Roast root vegetables, Roast potatoes with pink Himalayan salt and Jasmine rice.

To end off your evening, the perfect festive dessert of deconstructed trifle will be the final course.

This consists of a salted caramel crème, clove and bay leave sponge, sherry berry jelly, ginger biscuit tuile, sour cherry stuffed with Amarula cream dipped in white chocolate coated in a cherry gel.

The Christmas day feast has a variety of options including a char-grilled butternut salad and springbok carpaccio.

For mains, the carvery offers smoked Kassler loin or cranberry roast turkey.

There is also a buffet which offers a range of dishes some of them have a South African inspired twist. These dishes include a Cape Malay Lamb curry and a Boerewors and biltong tortellini with mustard sauce.

For a delectable sweet ending, there are favourites like Christmas fruitcake, Red velvet cupcakes with salted beetroot mousse as well as a selection of cheese, biscuits and preserves.

New Year’s Eve at The Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront

Welcome in the new year with exquisite Arabian themed set and buffet menu’s at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront.

The five-course New Year’s set menu feast includes an entrée of sous vide quail followed by a main of pulled lamb.

The dessert of Turkish delight cheesecake is the final course before the highlight of this dazzling evening which is front row seats to the magical fireworks display at midnight.

There are multiple options on the buffet menu. This includes a selection of Arabian breads and lamb terrine with condiments. For the mains, there will be a lamb shawarma station, a selection of mixed kebabs and an eggplant, tomato and chickpea bake.

You can end off your meal with Eastern sweets including Turkish delight, an assortment of spiced macarons and a dark chocolate and cinnamon mousse with dukkah spiced shortbread.

The highlight of this dazzling evening is a front row seat at the magician fireworks display at midnight accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine.
