The Tiger is looking to regain his roar at US Open, starting on Thursday.
Tiger Woods will be looking to follow up his growls at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Memorial Tournament with a full-throated roar at the 112th US Open to be broadcast live on DStv’s ESPN and SuperSport.
ESPN (channel 230 on DStv) will broadcast the first two rounds of the tournament with the third and fourth day moving over to SuperSport 1 and High Definition 1.
Woods will go in search of a 15th career major and a fourth US Open brimming with confidence after his victory at the Memorial Tournament two weeks ago, his second of the year, moved him up to second in the all-time list of golfers with the most PGA Tour wins, tied with the legendary Jack Nicklaus on 73 wins.
The return of the legendary fist-pumping golfer, which had not been seen in years, after his chip in at the 16th at the Muirfield Village Golf Club is an ominous sign that the Tiger is once again on the prowl for a major.
